MEET OUR jiu-Jitsu & Fitness INSTRUCTORS

Head Instructor

Henrique Marinho is a black belt from Brazil. He started his Jiu-Jitsu journey early on at a young age of 6. He moved to the United States in 2018, and since has not stopped training and competing. He has kept his consistent Jiu-Jitsu and fitness lifestyle since growing up.

What motivates him the most is his students! He is always eager to pass on to his knowledge of jiu-jitsu along with the values has learned over the years.  Watching his students transform and grow as they learn new skills and techniques brings him a lot of satisfaction. You can see the happiness in him as the students progress and their self esteem  and confidence grow.

Outside of Jiu-Jitsu, Henrique is married, and a father to two beautiful daughters, who also practice jiu-jitsu back in Brazil.

Brown BELt

Coach Ricardo Souza has been a long time resident of Marlborough, MA. He enjoys learning new techniques, and teaching children the art of the "human chess" as he likes to call it. He refers to Jiu-Jitsu as the "human chess" because you always have to wait until you or your opponent makes a move before the next move is made. Outside of school, he specializes in finished carpentry. He partnered with his friend, and they have been growing strong in the carpentry world for over 20 years. Reach out to him if you are interested in a free quote from the Brutus Carpentry guys!
